For heads of music and department leads

An interactive place to learn jazz and musicianship.

Témbra is a self-directed learning environment your institution provides for its musicians: listening, harmony, groove, soloing and ensemble playing, with engraved notation and real instrument tracks. It grew from work with young and adult musicians at York Music Forum, in rehearsals, workshops and 1-to-1 tuition. Try it at your desk or piano and judge it for yourself.
